Kaufman County CERT, Inc.

Tina Sanders is currently the Vice President for Kaufman County CERT, Inc. She has held this position since the program was developed here in Kaufman back in 2004. Mrs. Sanders in a native Texas, raised in Dawson, located in Navarro County, southwest of Corsicana. She attend college in Bryan, Texas and in 1996 in Dallas received her Advanced NLP Practioners Certification.

Mrs. Sanders is happily married with four children and raising them in the city of Kaufman. She is currently employed with Legacy High School in Kaufman, where she provides many valuable services. With her history in working for Legacy High School and having children that attend Kaufman ISD, she is working to find ways to help promtoe and incorporate SERT (School Emergency Response Teams) and Teen CERT to all the various school districts in our county.

Since 2005, Mrs. Sanders has been on the city of Kaufman Parks and Recreation Board, where she continues to serve in the interest of the citizens of the city. Along with serving with the city, she has a keen sense and strong will to help out and volunteer in public service, which is what brought her to us.

Thanks to a large number of skills that she as learned over the years, including those from running her own business, she brings a unique knowledge of determination, she was a natural to be placed into service with Kaufman County CERT, Inc. and we will continue to utilize her to the best of her ability in the future.
