We have now received our Memorandum of Understanding from Legacy High School. We wish to thank Mike Anderson, Principal of Legacy High School, Honors Academy and Tina Sanders in establishing a new relationship between Kaufman County CERT and Legacy High School.
Legacy MOU
In an effort to secure a training and meeting facility and to help work with serving the general public, Kaufman County CERT and Legacy High School created and agreed to a formal friendship and create a Memorandum of Understanding that set the gound work for a working relationship. This MOU, placed into effect on June 6, 2007, will provide for many benefits to both Kaufman County CERT, Inc. and Legacy HIgh School through August 31, 2010, when both parties shall meet and evaluate the partnership and if everything looks good, would extend the MOU for another 3 year period, thereafter. Legacy High School is a Texas Public Charter School that has facilities just south of Downtown Kaufman which makes a perfect setting and training facility for most all of Kaufman County CERT's activities. We intend to utilize this facility to the best of our ability and will also work with Legacy to develop some programs that may be used by their staff and students.
