We would like to welcome TheVestGuy to our growing family of sponsors We would like to welcome TheVestGuy to our growing family of sponsors.  TheVestGuy.com has donated one of their custom vest to be used during the Kaufman Fall Cabooodle Fest and beyond.  TheVestGuy.com is a maker of custom safety and industry vest for over 17 years.  If you happen to be a crossing guard, a member of a local emergency response organization, Red Cross or just about any other type of business where you might need a safety vest while out in public, this is the place to find one.

The vest that has been donated includes a set of CERT wording tags and a set of ARES® woding tags that are interchangable due to the velcro attachments included on the vest.  So if you happen to need to change names or titles, you can do so very quickly.  The donated vest, shown below, is very simaliar to the official Kaufman County CERT vest, in style, but we will be working closely with Robert, TheVestGuy, to match the style and coloring of the vest that will best meet the needs of our members.

TheVestGuy spent over 15 years in law enforcement and has used that experience to design and make vest that meet a variety of needs to better assist those that help others.  We were drawn to their website after searching for several years to find a suitable vest that we like.  Though you can find a basic vest else wear for less money, the quality, design and overall performance of these vest outweigh the cost of them.  They may be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Be sure to visit their site and you will gain a real insight into what TheVestGuy.com can do for you.  According to them, no job is to small or large for them to handle.  Robert and his crew will work with you every step of the way to insure that you get a vest that meets and exceeds for needs.  Whether you need to include a radio pouch on the front, a small carry pack/pocket on the back, colors, reflectors, even removable water bladders/canteens (think camel packs), letter patches and more.  If you can think of it, most likely they will be able to reproduce it.

If you would like to help us in our efforts to order some vest from TheVestGuy.com for our members, pelase feel free to make a donation using the PayPal link below or use another donation method.

By donating funds to help purchase a vest, you will be helping to protect the life of a volunteer that has committed to helping others during times of emergency.
