My community or county does not have a CERT program, what can I do?
Sunday, 07 January 2007
If you have searched the national Citizen Corps website and are unable to locate a CERT program or you have determined that the local CERT program is no longer active, then Kaufman County CERT and Southern Search & Rescue, Inc. are offering to help create and format a CERT program, with your help, for your area. You do not have to be in Texas for us to assist.
There is a small processing fee that is requested, but it is not anything that will be a burden on anyone. If all requirements are met and the newly formed CERT team desires, they can be included under the Group Exemption Letter that is provided by Southern Search & Rescue, Inc.
